We need all the help we can get. We aren’t just up against a giant Texas gas corporation; we’re also up against one of the largest engineering firms in the country. We’re up against city hall. We’re up against people who don’t care about pollution, the health of others or the success of businesses who happen to be in the way.
There are multiple ways you can help.
Donate
Large corporations love to try and bleed the little guy out. Our lawyer is very good and believes we have a strong case, but we need donations to help cover the costs of taking on city hall. All donations go to paying attorney and court costs. We are not getting paid for this. If we get enough to cover legal fees, any leftover funds will be donated to the Oak Creek Public School system.
Visit our GoFundMe page and consider donating so we can keep fighting in the courts.
Sign and Share the Petition
We have a Change.org petition but are still just a smidge short of our goal. Please consider signing and sharing as it does help!
Share Your Objections with City Hall
Consider calling or emailing the Oak Creek Common Council and respectfully tell them you don’t want the pollution, traffic and crime that a Buc-ees will bring.
Please remember to be courteous to our elected officials and civil servants as we value the work they do to keep our city running.
